What Is the Status of the Investigation of Daphne's Murder?
Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Chris Cardona has vehemently denied these claims, and it should be said that he has not been questioned or charged with anything. Jorgen Fennec, on the other hand, has remained in custody, maintaining that he has evidence that will implicate other powerful players in Malta's political scene. As of the time of writing, this is five years after Daphne was murdered, the trial is ongoing. Three men, the DeGiorgio brothers and Vince Muscat, have been charged with the killing, and they are currently serving their sentences.
