The Origin Story of Passover

The first few verses are backgrounding. It's not like Moses is somewhere else. Then he has to come back to Pharaoh after he's just left and all that sort of stuff. So I want to make a comment on that. Again, this is easily rectifiable just by going from a past tense to a past perfect sense. And the Hebrew form of the verb allows you to do that. It's perfectly legitimate grammatically. We start off with the commentary,. the explanation of the origin story, if you will, of Passover. And then we're going to hit the final plague and then a few more thoughts on Passover anyway.
