Government Selects for High Time Preference
Government is designed to be a short termist. Government selects for people who think in the short term. And it doesn't select for people who are capable of understanding the big, transformative, long term impact of moving from a credit based financial system to a hard, equity based financial system. So i think these kinds of attacks where governments take bit coin and steal it, are likely a because, you know, bit qoin is just there. It's just much easier to use it and play along with it and benefit from it, and take other people's bit coin and use them a than it is to try and fight all of bitquin particularly ifyou broke.
