The Importance of Rational Decision Making
Bob Greene: Economics is predicated on people being rational over time. He says the economy hasn't fallen apart and that at some base level, people are behaving rationally enough for things to progress. Greene: Giant food stores will be putting robotic assistants in 172 of their locations. The giant robot looks like a black tongue depressor with eyes that appears to stand about six feet tall.
