Is the Holy Spirit Coming to the Apostles?

The holy spirit does not come to us just once in life. The purpose of the bestowal of the holy spirit on pentecost is not to empower them to forgive sins, it's to empower them for evangelization. So whatever purpose god has for you, he can give you the holy spirit to strengthen you for it.
