i've gone from a great preoccupation years ago with chronological time to wanting to be older, and then being afraid of being older. i realize that what has happened is that as the year have gone by, more than previous years, i don't seem to be living very much in any time frame. And it seems very easy and familiar and comfortable. So i'll talk for a little while, maybe then you'll call in and say hello.
