The Umbrella Is the Thing That Keeps You From Getting Wet
The museum is picked clean of all of its art and then there's really no way to just add another metaphor onto this to put the horse back in the barn. It's already run away. Like if you stop paying attention to it, they're going to eventually clean out the store and that's going to be the ball game. Just because you're not getting wet because you have an umbrella and a rainstorm doesn't mean it's now time to close the umbrella.
