The Game Plan for Genesis in the Book of Exodus

i think genesis is also a very unique book in the bible. Once you're even an exodus like there is narrative story, buti it's different. The narrative story is placed in the midst of building the tabernacle and all that stuff. And once you're in leviticus, forget it. Like you're mostly not in narrative stories. You're in legal rulings. There are some little narrative stories here and there. But so, like, what will be different when you're in later parts of the tora? i don't fully know. I'm asking this boat mostly to understand something about Genesis.
