Hundreds, if not thousands of these celebrations take place across northern ireland. They often start off early on the eleventh, and if children's parties and pensioners teas or things like that. The bands are out and parading. The banners are unfurled and carried. It's a very colorful carnival type atmosphere. People take advantage of this and get involved in somesome discrit sectarian behavior. But that is a minority.
