The Suxenhausen Concentration Camp
More than 200 thousand prisoners who were registered in saxonhausen, about 50 thousand prisoners did not survive. Ezra yeman was only 12 years old when in 19 forty two he was deported from his home in dresden and interned in the strasdenhof forced labor camp in latvia. There he encountered songs that had travelled across nartzy europe between camps. He learned the songs because i was a member of the children quin strasenhov and we sang at the Saturday night concerts.
