Are We Measuring the Right Things?

The commercial opportunities in space are enormous, and i think we are all being blinded by the conflation of these two things. We're getting to a place where there are a handful of private players that control the highway to space,. They are also putting hundreds of their own satellites into space. And so we are setting ourselves up to become hugely dependent on a few private players for vital commercial interstructure. These private players are already some of the richest and most powerful individuals on earth.
