Tattoos in Korea
I always thought that it was illegal or very taboo and it was like an underground tattoo scene. I think in recent years it's been more popular because a lot of Korean celebrities, whether it's like Kpop people or like actors or just like general celebrities, they've been getting more tattoos. So maybe it became a little bit destigmatized where you don't have to cover your tattoo anymore so people get more exposure to it and it's more normalized. Just a theory. You guys probably don't know, but on Korean TV shows like the major channels, you're not allowed to show your tattoos. Oh yeah, they like tape it up. But I'm pretty sure on those networks
