The Politics of Redistribution

If people took a clean sheet of paper approach to policy, I think the real wealth of the nation within a couple of three or four years would double. Now there'd be maybe some struggle, but on that, this rising tide lifts all boats. It's just maybe some would get lifted more than others and so people would be unhappy with that. But it's not it's nobody that you'd consider part of this current debate that's keeping it from happening.
