Inuktitut Is Very Good
The radio is key to the survival and revival of Inuit culture. The local Povevituk station still begins the day with a weather report or community announcements. A kinisea's mother was sent away too to a residential school on the other side of Hudson Bay at the age of four. She almost lost her mother tongue language when she came back home. But she speaks inuktitut. It's still strong.
