Aristotle's Theory of the Human Soul
Aristotle first gave the scientific and comprehensive treatment of the soul, seeing it as a principle of life for all sorts of living things. He even complained that up until he wrote his treatise on the soul, most other theorists focused only on human beings. This talk has actually directed at two very different audiences, but two very different aims. It's aimed at those interested in contemporary science, aiming to bring into view a historical scientist. And maybe certain biologists can see in the theories that Aristotle presents to us, a kind of mirror for reflection on the practice of modern science today.
