How to Assess Your Nervous System

It's really important to assess and reassess how something is affecting your body, especially when we're doing things from the lens of neuro somatic intelligence tools. You can take these broad recommendations for like, cold shower, sensory stimulus, humming, singing, all these kind of big, broad general recommendations that you see out there, and then test them out for yourself and see how your nervous system responds. And if they help you, great use them when you're feeling that onset of freeze or immobility or dissociation. But if you reassess negatively, know that that's okay too; not everything is going to work the same way for everyone.
