Engineering is a problem of not enough data about what i'm trying to model. Most engineering problems are sparse, but there are some where engineers end up collecting a lot of data. And so the cutting edge of what actually happens in engineering is never eas now. It's people building prototypes, conducting experiments and collecting data. These people tend to collect a lot ofdata because they will run the hyperlutaston for days at a time.
