Al-Azali's Arguments Are Not Demonstrative
The authority of revelation trumps over the authority of an argument that is non-drumonstrative. Al-Azali also accepts positions that the philosopher bring forward, yet in his opinion, cannot prove demonstratively. This for instance applies to Abhisena's view that there are different spheres and there is a highest sphere which is connected with God. He says this is not something that you, philosophers, know through demonstrative arguments because your arguments are not demonstrative.
