Cardinal Angelou Betshu - Is Cardinal Betshu Suing Espresso?

Cardinal Angelou Betshu has had some bad luck in Italian courts. In 2020 when he was forced to resign all his carry-off positions in his rights as a cardinal he launched a series of lawsuits won against the Italian news magazine Espresso and another against his former deputy, Monsignor Perlaska. We have heard from Cardinal Betshu's lawyer many many times suggesting that we have compromised his ability to operate in the life of the church. But our response or the response of our attorneys is always like well if you're going to sue us you have to do it here in the United States where people are allowed to report things that are true or not intended.
