Vatican: Lay people are meant to go out into the world as salt and leaven and light. It's not going to happen simply from the preaching of priests and bishops, but by lay people infiltrating society. We've got to use ouur own intellects, our own minds, to figure out how, in fact, to sanctify the world. I can't stress this enough to catholics y. And there's a strong tendency to misunderstand it.
