George Orwell's Birthday Is 1984
1984 was George Orwell's ninth and final book completed in his lifetime as he died from tuberculosis just six months after its release. It has also left an incredible mark on popular culture with elements and concepts in the novel entering into common usage. We'll get to some of them soon, but for now we're going to take a look back at how 1984 made us all who we are today.
