The Big Picture Macro View

I think it's definitely been a difficult time for macro analysis the last few years, just because of COVID and all the, you know, after effects of that has made a lot of the data harder to interpret. So I think if the Fed can avoid overtightening and if fiscal policy remains supportive, we could probably get through this year without a recession. The labor market is certainly a source of strength. Things like the housing market is probably a source of weakness. But overall, we're probably in a kind of a slow growth environment right now.
