The Importance of Conceptual Analysis in Panpsychism
Keith, Frank and I agree that the conceptual analysis is very important here. And one reason it's important is because we don't want the illusion to be too huge. So then we have to ask, well, what does it mean when we say that people feel pain? But even so, I think it just seems really implausible that that's what we mean. If that's not what we mean, and all you've got is functional goings on basically, then you're saying no one feels paid. That's just obviously a bridge too far.
