Strategic Monoliths and Microservices
The idea is that monoliths are not bad. It's just the big ball of mud that's bad and that reflects not paying your debt. So start paying your debt as soon as you can. Here are some ways to refactor. Maybe it's more like redesign depending on, I think it's a myriad of different refactorings. And then we have a technique called event surfacing where introducing events are implicit. We want to think that there's an event, but there's just not one there. How do you now make it explicit? So we talk through some ways about doing that.
