Is the Lord Modeling the Type of Honesty and Integrity and Loyalty That Abraham Is Said to Have?

The Lord begins in verse 17 by saying, shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? So he's having this conversation with himself. The parties of the covenant are meant to be honest and have integrity and be transparent with one another. They're supposed to be loyal. Sam: What the Lord is doing here is modeling the type of honesty and integrity and loyalty that Abraham is himself supposed to have as a party in this covenant.
