All book violence is basically a riff off of Walter Benjamin. He's really one of the main references, I think, that sustained through all of this work. It's always a question how you're supposed to pronounce this name because if you say Walter Benjamin, you're saying the first word in English, the second one in a fake German accent. The norm seems to be to just say Walter Benjamin. And his taste and art aside, this is a good essay.
