Is the Original a Photograph?

I think your example a mark of the proliferation of images. It just isn't that the original is something like a photograph, higher truth versus the literal trutht. So it's not like stories ri ther all about falsehoods, but they're meant to convey truths. For instance, hume brings us up, i think hutchinson might bring it up as well. But it's about psychological plausibility of characters. And so they're true to life in that sense.
