The Role of Symptom Modulation in Treatment of Left Hand Elbow Tendonopathy
The pain rating scale, the patient rated tennis elbow evaluation or the disabilities of the arm, shoulder and hand have strong evidence backing their use in monitoring the progress of patients with lateral elbow tendinopathy. Pressure pain threshold, pain free, grip strength are probably the two of my most favorite impairment measures to take. The combination of cryotherapy and verse tens gave us a little bit higher level evidence than just ice by itself. Even laser therapy gives us at least some evidence and weaker evidence, albeit, but some evidence.
