Facebook has been using personal information in Shadyways for years now. It feels extra scummy that a platform who says their entire purpose is to help your mental health would be responsible for sharing that information. One user said that after texting her therapist how she felt suicidal, the therapist only sent back the word, oh. The company claims 90% of their therapists earn more than $30 an hour but other therapists online have claimed that even 10% making less is still abysmal.
