The Advantages and Disadvantages of the Roth IRA

The marginal versus the effective tax rate, the Roth IRA, you're paying the marginal rate, the highest bracket. If you just trace a thousand bucks, take it, pay the tax or don't pay the tax in the regular, it doesn't work well. Now I've had people send me spreadsheets because they did the Roth and they're desperately trying to find a reason why it's a good thing to do.
