What's on the Other Side of the Balance?
On the on the one side of the balance, are all my griefs and all my sorrows and sufferings. That's how that's what justice demands. And even balance and the scales are skewed. We're back to this idea of longing for death because life has become unlivable. Rather than just slog through or suffer through a life that doesn't measure up to what life is supposed to be, i have to end it. I actually read this once in a study of suicide: often people who contemplate it, it's not because they value life too little. It's because, in some ways, they valuelife too much, too much to allow it to continue in the condition
