The Intimacy of Surveillance in Yemen
There is a kind of psychic internment, one Yemeni American activist put it, or mental entrapment that the community lives with. I worry that there's almost like a surveillance divide or surveillance apartheid, if you will in the United States. But I also want to point out that people from this community, from these communities are actually fighting back.
