What Makes the Smart Mouse?
In memory, there are things that promote it and those that inhibit it. Too much is not always a good thing, right? In remembering everything in this room will be of no use to you. What we have done is toa slow down the breaks on memory and enhance the accelerators of memory. So both types of things taken the breakes off slightly and pressing the accelerators slightly,. Both of those things in a resulting mice that are smarter. Why didn't evolution make those mice to start with? Ah, that's a more complex question, which we really don't know. We don't know the price that those mutations that made them smart would have had if those animals were out
