Henrietta Bailey's Story
Henrietta Bailey was diagnosed with cervical cancer after giving birth to her fifth child. While in the hospital, doctors took a sample of her ovarian cells and sent it down to the Johns Hopkins lab. Doctors would run tests on samples of patients cells then use anything leftover for other research. But this by friends is when he finds out her cells were not only alive, but they were thriving. They could test for diseases on actual human cells instead of testing on actual humans.
