The Next Disruption in the Social Sciences
It seems to me that, at least when it comes to philosophy and philosophical training, there is a sense of specific progress in a particular field which can be directly applied to enhance these fields. If economists were to have learned about some of the things that have happened in social metaphysics over the past ten years, they would actually be better economists, absolutelam. And so it seems that ar in that way, i think your appeal seems both idealistic and practical at the same time. But if you're gong to have people who are capable of disrupting the foundations of a field, then you need people who are really engaging in those foundations.
