Introduction
Eleanor Caton won the Booker Prize in 2013 for her novel The Luminaries. Her follow-up, Burnham Wood is an eco-thriller that pits big tech against environmental activism. It's a story of love, murder and revenge set during New Zealand's 19th century Gold Rush. She says she wanted to create a reading experience where the reader would care about the future.
