Is Parenthood Like a Constant Disruption of What You Think You Know?
When Devorah became a parent in her almost 14 year old, it was really eye opening. What is it like to grow up with the cell phone and the connectedness and the internet? I think the photograph thing is huge because kids are growing up just more aware of their appearance. The science on memory suggests that actually we may remember an event differently and encode it more deeply if we don't photograph all the time. It's one thing too to take a lot of family photos, it's also another thing to do you need to post them.
