The Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights
The Second Amendment was drafted and used as a proxy to control slaves. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state is meant to be controlled by white men only. This law required every able body white man between 18 and 45 to join their state's militia.
