In south africa, people tend to tell you exactly how their day's been. In the states it would be that case if you asked a close friend or family member. But in other countries like Brazil and South Africa, strangers will just say they had a bad day. And so i've been asking people what reyour vacation plans? Do have any travel plans? It's really greate one for kind of building up a conversation with some one that you don't know very well. Will be prepared if you end up having an awkward conversations.
