The Argument for a Higher Minimum Wage

The argument with this is that a higher minimum wage will lead to more entry into the labor force by people who currently look at the low skill jobs. And while this certainly suggests, let me add a code into that it also means that the value of searching for a job is higher. So employers might create better matches with their employees, which leads to sort of more surplus to share between employer and employee. It has very strong implications and probably not in the direction we'd like it to. The second thing is that this is a testable hypothesis.
