Shorting the Stock Market

Mark O'Mara: I've never really been very successful at shorting the markets. So instead, I've been investing in very conservative investments, not cash. We had a 20% gain in our oil and gas position and in a financial stock that did really well. And we actually broke even in our gold position last year. But my portfolio was down a bit, but not as much as the market. so I kind of fit the Dick Russell trying to minimize my losses and then be fully invested when the market turns around.
