The Implications of the Fitch Rating Downgrade
Moody's is now the only outstanding rating agency with a AAA rating on US debt after S&P lowered their rating of the US in 2011. The 10-year has tightened by two basis points right when the news came out, and then it's now dapped out by last I looked at it by 10 basis points on the day. "I don't think there's any consequence to this," Mark Zandy says.
