Is There a Scientific Culture Within Architecture?
There's no feedback loop in people looking for evidence as to what makes good architecture, he says. Architecture of the last century has never tried to adapt to the health of the users, with the possible exception of letting in more light - but only because it is dark and unhealthy. The building typologies of o o modernism right through deconstructivism, are wonderful money makers for thebuilding and construction and engineering industries or materials industries. This has nothing to do and with the Health of the Users was never a concern.
