The Importance of Responsibility in Information Architecture
I'm very concerned with ensuring that the societies that we live in stick around. I don't think that you can be a student of history, even a superficial one like myself without coming to some degree of appreciation and care for what we have. And part of the book is also an invitation for us to speak a bit more broadly about the things that we're putting out into the world. Like so much of our key decisions are happening in these environments. We have a responsibility to ensure that we're not messing it up.
