The Impact of the Swiss Ladies Suiting the Swiss Government
The case is in the European Court of Human Rights now, so could it have an impact across Europe? It could indeed and that's really interesting. They're saying that women and particularly older women are affected disproportionately by heat. If they win, that will not just mean that Switzerland will have to do more to combat climate change,. but it could mean that all of the member states, 46 European countries, might have to doing more.
