Is Your Distraction a Dilemma?
i have 80 h t, and that means i am a bit of a scatter brain. I can get very easily distracted - by definition it means i'm unable to have linear, connective thinking. It took me until my late twenties even to get the courage to press the up button on what i think is really my creative lift,. My creative secret sauce, my obsession, my greatest distraction. For years, that creative lift of story wasn't labelled genius. It was labelled temptation. Temptation, the thing to not not run towards; the thing to resist at all costs. If your family called your genius your obsession, you would be forgiven for missing genius.
