Is There a Lottery?
If you are a 30 to 35 win team on talent, I'm going to expect that you win less the fewer than that. The incentives for those teams to lose at the end of the season are even more powerful than they used to be because of the balance. You know, like if you have the eighth worst record, you've got a pretty decent chance to get into the top four. Sometimes you'll see some over odds when the odds are posted rather than move the under line.
