Hitler believed the spoken word was the only way to push large scale societal change. He noted that people were more convinced by his speeches when they happened after dark movies screened at night were more convincing. When you're going out to a movie at night or to see a comedy show you finished you're more willing to think about stuff because you don't have anything pressing other than this thing. It's where we allow ourselves to go places mentally. You just think about so many big things just happen at night.
