The Architecture of Webb

The main mirror sits open in space a. The reason for that is because it's an infered telescope. John wer the they knew from the design. Architecture of webb, as you describe it, has this open design. O if you go and look at a hubble, its mirror is protected by the tubular baffle. A web is not like that. They've had five strikes from very, very tiny. Well, let's call them dust particles. One of them was reasonably big. Ah, the fifth one bit bigger than they were expecting, actually, and it dinked one of the mirrors. So it's got a little dimple in it now.
