The Jivekas and Atman's Preoccupations

The ajivekas shared similar preoccupations as the buddhists and janes. They were interested in atman's existence, sorrow and the end of sorrow. And they had some interesting ideas on karma. The agivicas claim that you can't really influence karma once it is created. Your earthman will always have to go to eight point four million great aeons of fixed rebirths. You spend your final birth in asceticisms. Then when you die by dehydrating yourself to death, you are finally free.
